According to 1 Corinthians 12:18, God is the one who designed us as we are! Some may be more like the eyes and see things, perceive things that others may not. Others may be like the feet and be ready at all times to GO where needed. Others are gifted with words to speak and are a mouthpiece. Precious few use their ears and are great listeners.

He gave us our interests, our abilities. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). He ordained/prepared/called into existence good works for us to do before we were formed! Who are we to question Him?! He has the BIG PICTURE!

He knows who will interact with whom, who we need to touch for their sake, and who needs to touch us for our sake. That person was given that gift/ability in order that we might benefit from it.

We hear the idiom, “Bloom where you are planted.” USE the gifts/abilities God has given you and develop them, for your benefit, so you can become the best you that you can be, but also for the ultimate benefit of the Body – those you touch on a regular basis. Bloom, grow, exercise, GIVE!

Thank You Lord, that You invest, mold, shape, water, prune, and fertilize us, that we might make a difference in Your world!!!!!
